Battle Sistem:

Final Fantasy X-2 will provide not only a different battle system, but an entirely new way of customizing characters as well.

The new battle system will be the standard Active Time Battle system, with a few new tweaks. Yuna and her companions will be able to use chain attacks, and, under certain conditions, attack an enemy all at once. Allies and enemies alike will roam the battlefield and position themselves accordingly, as opposed to staying in the same formation throughout the battle. Also, each character will have an ATB gauge, and when it is full, the character will be able to take their turn. Certain actions will take up a specific amount of the ATB gauge. For instance, using an item will take only one-third of the bar, while attacking will consume the entire bar.

The new "Dress Up" system will be utilized in combat as well as outside of battle. Each character will start out with a basic dress, or job class, and will use abilities which correspond with that dress. For example, when Yuna is wearing her standard Gunner outfit, she has the Quick Trigger ability, which can be used to create a chain attack. When Yuna or one of her companions transform during battle, there is a quick transformation sequence, and then the character will be able to use the abilities of that job class. New dresses will be available when the player obtains a "dress sphere"
